Key Projects in Mbololo Ward (2024–2026)
- Tausa-Mwandau Water Project: Commissioned by Governor Mwadime, this project involves the rehabilitation of water infrastructure to serve over 2,300 people. It includes a new 50m³ masonry tank, 3km of HDPE pipeline, and five communal water points with 10,000-litre storage tanks.
- Mbulia-Mzwanenyi Water Project: A Sh56 million initiative in collaboration with the National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) to supply water to at least 6,000 residents in Mbololo and Ngolia wards. The project, nearing completion as of March 2025, involves sourcing water from the Mzima pipeline, utilizing solar energy to reduce pumping costs for villages including Tausa, Ndome, and Mbulia.
- Affordable Housing Project (Kariokor): Governor Mwadime hosted President William Ruto for the commissioning of over 470 units of the Voi Pool House Affordable Housing Project located in Mbololo Ward, aimed at enhancing decent housing in the area.
- Tausa Health Centre Upgrade: A new Ksh 8 million outpatient facility is under construction to serve Tausa, Mwangele, Lukasinyi, Mwandau, and surrounding areas. The project is designed to improve rural health access.
- Community Empowerment & Infrastructure: Support for community groups (CBOs) and infrastructure, including the ongoing construction of Mbonunyi ECDE and road improvements.
